Dr. Eleanor Osborne has 35 years of experience as a professional educator. She received a B.S. at Southern Connecticut State University, a M.S. at Western Connecticut State University, a Certificate of Advanced Studies at Fairfield University, and a Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut. Her broad-based experiences contribute to her expertise in the field and provide a strong foundation for being a significant member of the team. She has been an elementary school teacher, speech and hearing clinician, administrator for a middle school, supervisor for English, reading and literacy K – 12, and Associate Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment in a large urban district, Director of Reading at a private university, an Educational Change Leader at an urban high school, and has participated in numerous school quality reviews, including school accreditations from pre-school through the university level. She has also been a presenter at local, state and national conferences. Dr. Osborne has received many awards, including the University of Connecticut’s Outstanding School Leader Award in 2005. Her breadth and depth of experience and knowledge contributes greatly to the success of the team.
